Front Mudflaps Removal?

Gents,

I've just collected my new '02 Vogue and am hastily removing the awful sidesteps.

The front mudflaps seem to be screwed or bolted from behind the wheelarch liner and I don't want to break anything.

Can anyone please tell me the best way to remove these flaps?

I do understand that I'll probably need to replace them with non cutout items, and that's fine.

Any help gratefully appreciated. A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

I pulled the lower panel at the bottom of the front wing out from the door side, and it hinged open like a door. You can then get to the back of the bolts.

Once removed you will have to fill the holes, repaint the panel and fit new wheel arch liners.

Thanks gents!

Sorry, Ram. I had to do it. A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.
