Check trailer light

This appears when I attach the lightboard - the lights are fine. Is this just a warning that activates when a trailer or light board is connected.
I know there are regular towers on here so do you get this warning? Geoff

Are they led types at all?? Are any brighter/weaker than the rest??

Sounds like its picking up low resistance on a certain circuit...

Oh check your sockets as well Smile

Mine does this for around 5 - 10 seconds when you first turn the ignition on (with trailer socket plugged in), then again after you turn it off... maybe it's normal Confused

Its picking up a fault somewhere. Normal with LED lighting as they take less power, but if they are bulbs then there is a fault with the circuit...

I get what Johnte gets exactly. The only LED bulbs are the front sidelights but they are CANBUS friendly so no warnings in normal use even with the sexy shiver when first turning on Very Happy Geoff

I have no LED's Confused and mine's a relatively newly fitted Westfalia kit. All I use it for is a bike rack light board & all lights appear to work perfectly..

If you get the message then there is a fault on the trailer circuit somewhere. Possibly (if you are lucky) it will be low resistance due to poor connection within the trailer plug and the socket on the car. Cover both liberally with WD40. This always resolved the issues on my boat trailers Thumbs Up

I do have converter, to convert from 13 pin - maybe that could be the problem ? All the lights are working perfectly (brand new bike rack)
