New exhaust opinions wanted..

So I have a buzzing rattle at v low rev and been told its internal damage in my back box, not repairable. I have an lr exhaust thta my dad took off his ff for a kahn one but I am debating whether to stick with original lr exhaust, or get a custom made one. There is a place near me that do them, any suggestions, twin tailpipes, quad pipes, growl sound etc..?

IMHO I'd stay stock on the FFRR it's about refinement- especially with the tractor engine- the TD6 would sound like a taxi with a loud exhaust.

Thumbs Up

I agree with Happymadison.

A decent aftermarket exhaust is a very rare thing without disturbing a vehicle's other atrributes. Been there with my 110 and now spending more ££ on another aftermarket system, but properly engineered this time.

Or buy a V8 and get the growl for free... Twisted Evil Si. <This is my name.

Stick to stock and give it a really good paint in black and some nice lacquer layers as well to make cleaning it easier as they often get shabby after a few miles Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Ok I have decided to stick with oe on this. As said before my dad has a genuine back box he took off his, but it has been lying in the front garden under the hedge for a year.WOuld this wreck the thing with insects inside or corrosion or will it be grand to fit?
Thanks

perhaps you had better get an Ecologist from Natural Ireland out to check if there are any bats roosting in it before moving it Wink

I wouldn't bother with the Ecologist from Natural Ireland, then you could have bats roasting Whistle

Before it goes on give it a close pressure wash and then paint with some chip resistant black paint as used for underseal or sills to make it stay clean for longer Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
