Just out of curiosity. How do you calculate mpg on lpg?

Same as you would with petrol really. Fill the tank up, reset your mileage, drive around for a few days and refill the tank again. See how much gas you have used and compare with the mileage. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

superchargers take the longest and are bitches to do.

My Guy said that the supercharges are the one that seem present a little problem when the car is on full chant originally and now he manage to sort them out as well.

Just driven to Devon yesterday on a full tank of gas which is 67 litres when full and we so far 180 and still have gas left in the system.

I will let you know on the next refill.

This is only our second tank on the new sytem

I was told by the installer I need to do 3 tank fulls until it settles down.

Also I need to return it back after a 1k for him to do a check on the system

I had my FF converted about 2 months ago now, the most i've been able to get out of a full tank of LPG is 240 miles, which i hasten to add was mostly motorway miles. I don't do many motorway miles at all usually and i get 200-215 miles on a full tank of gas. Would be interested to see what sort of range figures others are getting on a full tank of gas. Before i had the conversion done i was led to believe you would get around 250 miles to a tank full.

Just had my red light come on the gas and has achieved 220 miles

140 was motorway at well over 70 and the rest were devonshire roads so I think that has done well.

The wife was driving so it was being canned! lol

Im sure the the amount of gas is about 67ltrs in the tank.

get 180-190 out of 62 ltrs do lots of little short trips daily.

best was 250 on a full motorway trip.

these figures based on filling up every single week since NOV 2008 (avg 50-65 ltrs)

I'm surprised by some of you quoting that you get around 65litres. I was of the understanding that a tank is usually around 92litres and you loose around 10% - 82-85 litres fillable.

Great to see motorway miles average around the 250 mark & local ones 200-215. Just got to hpoe the price of LPG drops to what we saw it acouple of years ago & we could see some happy motoring.

I doubt it will ever drop. The more people start to use it the higher the price will get. It will just be another big rip off.

I am old enough to remember when hardly anyone had a deisel car, but diesel was about half the price of petrol in Britain. Over the years as more and more people bought diesel cars, the price rose until it is now more expensive than petrol. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

this will never happen more chance of landing on venus, i was paying 28p pl back in nov 08 (1st full tank i had)

A new boy....just bought a BRC converted 53 model. mixed driving got 100 miles for 27.7Ltrs. Anyone chipped their BRC system?

Mine gives around 230 miles to a tank, fill up is usually 70-75 litres. This is with no nursing, I enjoy rapid cruising on the motorway!

Compressor is in original position, case just slightly modified.

Interesting that the Supercharged seems to get the same from a tank as the 4.4! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Rangie has done just under the thousand miles since the new lpg.

Took it back for the check-up and a bit of a adjustment on the fueling.

Was running slightly lean but all sorted now and gas and lpg runnnig the same performance.

The engineer said that we should get better mpg.

Im waiting to do the fill up and will let you know what we get.

mine is 70L tank and it drives me mad filling it up every 200 miles how hard is it to change to a bigger tank sorry to go off topic a bit

Can't see it being to hard to change. I have a 95L tank holding a max 78L on a cold morning. I have had 270miles out of a tank all motorway down to Somerset. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
