Patience is where I went wrong, kept getting orange peel, so overdid it and it wrinkled..I'll stick with professionals from now on, plus I did it in my kitchen..the mess..!

Ireland 2008 Range Rover HSE TDV8 Java Black

Looking forward to finished product Sal Thumbs Up I'm buliding up the courage to spray my front bumper as someone made a dodgy job of a smart repair as it seems to have no laquer. It isnt that noticeable but I know its there .So im thinking of sanding it then priming base coat and laquering. Like you say its all in the prep if i make a mess there is always the pros Thumbs Up Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Hi don't need to sand it down to primer,

Use 800 sandpaper first, wet then 2000 sandpaper wet it should feel like glass when dry, then just spray lightly
After warming the can up, mean at least 5 mins to warm up can from bottom using heat gun.

Then it's the same with the laquer, patience

Don't over do it, the lacquer always drys a bit dull and orange peely, then buff like mad!!!!!
