United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Alveston Red
Tyre Pressure

Please forgive my ignorance but im not sure what pressures i should be running in my BF Goodrich All Terrains 265/65/18 im going on a motor way run towing a 18ft Tin Tent, i have looked at the max pressure on the tyres and it says 80psi but having very little experiance of this size of tyre putting that amount in just doesnt seem right

so i thought i would ask the people with the most experiance

It is not a recommended tyre size and appears over diameter by @ 2.5% - 5%. (rolling diameter is 122mm more than standard tyre size)

I would suggest (man on internet forum gives advice that need not be followed and carries no liability!) you follow the pressures on the door label.

A garage would probably pump them to 36 front 44 rear for your load. But take it easy, as the oversized tyres may put an undue strain on your transmission. .

not on label but defo OE size....that 19 is a spacesaver..

edit.. just double checked an old invoice and mine were 265/60/18 as opposed to OP's 65 series, but the pressures are the same as the 255's.... ... - .- -.
