As the title suggests I think it maybe an idea to list your dealer and the courtesy cars they use along with a score out of ten for overall performance.

Please try to keep this as factual as possible ie make model and age of vehilces rather than crap etc.

While were here why not also put a rating out of 10 for the dealers overall performance 1 = very bad 10 = very good.

Maybe they will read this and think twice before ordering low rent cars for us to use in future along with giving us a good idea of what to expect when we get there!

Ist visit to dealer, Courtesy car was an 08 plate TDV8 Vogue delivered to my door prompt.

Experience 9/10

Overflowing with wonderful things to say about the dealership booked in for a second time.

Courtesy car was 56 plate Mazda 3 with cracked windscreen, no fuel, stone cold and a salesmuppet watching from inside the showroom while i defrost it on a very cold January morning.

Whole experience not worth a mention/10

MG something or other (tiny front wheel drive hatch back) awful, I am too embarassed to take it anywhere but home and hide it. However as an approved service centre, they are the best in the area (Guildford/Godalming).

Stafford LR service dept used to be excellent, even gave me a FFRR S/C as a loaner once, Freelanders/Discos normally, shame the place is shutting down!

Car: 6 month old freelander. Need to book some weeks in advance to get one though, so no car if problem with yours.

Service: 8/10. Friendly and helpful. Would not use another LR dealer.
(lost 2 points for not refitting Defender dash back correctly after replacing wiper motor that squeaked)
