shooting ground is actually north of Telford.

Are you sure it's too far? It's a great ground.
I have enquired and it would £45 for a hundred clays and lunch.
Some great targets there in an amazing layout.

For those few of us in the NW near Blackpool or Preston, then there is Blackpool Gun Club.
Went there on an Agricultural jolly with Yorkshire Bank.. good day out. Basic facilities and not too pricey.
Not sure about the availability of tuition etc. but could easily find out and organise.
I'm more of a full bore Rifle shooter - and so my clay busting days are a distant memory, so no worries about anyone being crap.. I'll be closing one eye and wondering where my 'scope has gone.. and the clay will have disappeared by then..

The gun club is on Back Lane near Greenhalgh - out on the Fylde.
