Are there any drain points in the tailgate?

I've noticed that if I open the upper tailgate after it has been raining there is a rush of water which comes out from somewhere in the top r/h corner then runs down the side drain channel.

Is this normal or do I have a blocked drain channel somewhere in the upper tailgate? I've had a quick look but there is nothing obvious.

Its just where the water sits I think, it runs down the hinge line behind the upper brake light. You could check to see if there are leaves etc blocking the flow, mine does it too a few drips never a torrent. Only if its been stood in the rain, after driving is ok because the water gets blown out I think.
