I looked at getting one (going a bit off topic here...)

A service every 6 months (or 6k miles if sooner) at about £700. Add a set of tyres every 10k to 15k at £500 a corner if you want the proper ones. Front brakes are £1700... and so on. A lot do mods which cost a lot too.
Insurance was three times what I pay on the FFRR.

Figured the FFRR was more sensible option as I do 20k miles a year. And I get a better view.

But the performance would be nice and i have seen them at sub £40k used

Not sure they would appear on a cool wall though

Would fail the Kirstin Scott Thomas test me thinks

To get diesel and gasoline out to the island requires a special trip for the ferry with no passengers onboard so they bring fuel out about twice a year and fill the airport dump with avgas at the same time.
