Why are you leaving? It's not like you actually used this place for info to help you do jobs yourself. Your far to rich for that. Thumbs Up hope you stick round. You don't need a FFRR to be here. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Thanks for all the sentiments Gents , quite taken aback by them , anyhow for the time being i am still here .... Reason .....

Last week instead of selling the car privately and going the autotrader route i couldn't be arsed with test pilots and tyre kickers so i decided to sell it to WBAC ..... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes ...

So made the appointment for last week , as you know the usual guff from them , so i was told my valuation via e-mail was £24.100 so i thought well fine when i get there they will start their checking over and what not , to cut a long story short official wbac guy goes out checks over the car takes it for a test drive , plonker couldn't even get out the parking space until after 3 attempts Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes .

So now its back into the office and he nit picks with the odd stone chip ( barely noticeable) and some other small marks that would easily polish out nothing major , clicks about on his PC then hits out with we could offer you £23,000 as we would need to polish the car up to sell onto a dealer , to which i said what friggin size tin of polish are you going to buy that costs £1,100 , so needless to say me and WBAC parted on different views .

So i took the car home , check AT ,next day i seen a nice Merc , drove out to the Evans Halshaw dealer who was selling it and they must be rejects from the WBAC school of thought as well as their valuation was ...... £20,000 so they never got taken on either , so decide on Friday just take the Wife , youngest daughter and the 2 year old Granddaughter down to Southampton for the weekend to take her to Peppa Pig World in Hampshire ....

And to finish things off travelling back home we gets to about an hour away from home ... BONG ,,, Adaptive Driving Dynamics Fault ... BONG ... Gearbox Fault ... Bong all the LCD dash display disappears , no indicators , no lights , gets it into the services at Johnstonebridge ( Thank Christ what with having the 2 year old in the back ) waits for 2 hours for the RAC to send someone out , finally they arrive and it has to be put on a recovery vehicle to which they couldn't deliver it to the Land Rover Dealer till tonight ...

Thankfully the older daughter came down in her ML to pick us all up ....

So that has been my week , and the Dealership wont be able to look at it till Friday because they are too busy , so it looks like a new Alternator ....

So as i said at the start still here , No Luck Stan or Martin ............ Laughing Laughing Laughing Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Meant to add .. Feel for you guys in the Midlands , how do you put up with all those delays Shocked Shocked ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy
