Haven't noticed any difference on any of my machines with iTunes on them, and I've just upgraded them all up to iTunes v10 2012MY RREvoque Dynamic Lux Plus Auto SD4 Coupe in Fuji White with full ebony interior

It was iTunes 10 that i downloaded but it started slowing down certain programs so i removed it for the time being ...... |

in my mac itunes 10 works like a charm! its 2x to 3x faster than the latest 9 upgrade! even in windows its faster! try uninstalling and reinstalling!

IIRC you might need XP Service Pack 2 to run iTunes10 2012MY RREvoque Dynamic Lux Plus Auto SD4 Coupe in Fuji White with full ebony interior

That will be the problem then mate, iTunes can suck the life out of your PC if it's old...
