Thanks - if Parkamoor is what I'm thinking of, must have been very tight between the walls.

Trommel, yes it was pretty tight....

RR2008HSE, it sure is amasing off road.... it was only us and the Jeep with 37's and front and rear ARB lockers that did everything first time...

Just driven to my mums in Bucks, Rangie was a bit hot when I got here

This is what's left of the fuse for the fans??!!?!?!??!

The fuse is still ok, only thing I can think is that it got muddy water in it from a pay and play at KORC and made the connections dirty which set up a high resistance in the fittings.....

Brother coming tomorrow with tools to fit an inline 80amp maxi fuse..... Pete

You were lucky there Pete.
Normally a loose connection would be the cause of that.
I'm not keen on screwed connections on a car they just come loose with the vibration.

Good luck with the fix. Thumbs Up 2020 Porsche Panamera Turbo Hybrid (V FAST)

Yep, luckily melted the plastic first and insulated it....

Going to solder in then heat shrink the replacement... Pete

Piggin 'ell. You would have had to test your snorkel really quickly if that had sparked up !

So long as you have caught it and can upgrade the wiring.

Trust thats the only place you have those connections open to the mud ?

Onwards and upwards as they say.......

Thumbs Up

Yeah.. It looked a good bit of kit but obviously not up to the job...

All other joints are fine and soldered...

Mark, if someone wants to clone mine I'll take it as a compliment!!!!!!! Pete

After much thought I have decided to go to 18 x 7 1/2" rims and a taller tyre to give some extra sidewall for off roading...

The 19 x 8's with 255/55/19 tyres have a sidewall height of just over 5 inches, this makes the sidewalls vulnerable to damage from pinching when crossing loose rocks, the 8" rims mean the wheels are too exposed and get damaged easily as well...

I decided to go for a 275/65/18 size tyre, these stand nearly 3" taller than stock with a height of over 32" with a 7" sidewall and makes them about 7% taller than stock so should just about make the speedo spot on accurate...

They will also protect the wheels far more as they are 20mm wider on a thinner rim width...

They should fit the FF with only minor mods.....

I ummed and arred for some time over All terrain or full muds so started reading all the reviews on tirerack, there are 1000's of reviews from users so very useful, a bit like Tripadvisor for tyres..... I decided on some aggressive all terrains that apparently work better than a lot of full muds in the sticky stuff...

I've finally decided on the General Grabber AT2, these have stunning reviews from 1000's of people and seem to be rated far above the industry renowned BF Goodrich AT.

So four of these have been ordered from our site sponsor AJS4X4, who were far cheaper than anyone else. Thumbs Up

A very nice, near immaculate set of these was bought from our very own nicedayforit Thumbs Up

A new set of early nuts have been ordered from Dan.... Thumbs Up

More pics when they are fitted next week..... Pete

AT2's are very good had them on my old P38 the missus has the newer AT's on her disco and I don't think they are quite as aggressive

Seems they brought out the AT as the AT2 is so close to a mud tyre.... Pete

Have the at's on one of the hilux and they are wearing well and are definitely slightly less agressive than the at2 you have ordered. Still a bit of overkill for what we need! But it came with them on, the standard tyres are Bridgestone dueller which are pretty much standard road tyres. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
