Really down to your own personal taste , I tried them on mine and they were Sh.1te looking so I took them off ... but each to their own as I say and if you are happy with them that's the main thing .... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

You're right, they look Censored . I hate them.

This is an AUC vehicle that has just been delivered to my house by a well known national chain.

When I viewed the car it had black handles but the paint was very worn.

This was their solution.

Get them resprayed black.

Or, if you can get them off yourself, get a set of black covers from PowerfulUK.

Or, if you can get them off and prefer them as standard, Hayland did a great piece on stripping and respraying to factory appearance. Si. <This is my name.

It doesn't look right on black, I wondered how silver would look on MC blue, as the badges and tailgate strip have been done in silver, its the handles that let it down in appearance now. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

I've got a silver car and I fitted some solid stainless steel covers to the handles to hide the fact that most of the paint had chipped off, they now look standard to me, and would recommend them. As for a black car if you wanted to dull them down they do brushed stainless steel as well. The stainless steel is duller than chrome, and therefore not too blingy. But be careful there are thousands of ABS chrome handles out there, cheap and tacky, and far too shiny for me.
Plus you maybe able to help me understand, WHY would you want to cover your chipped and scratched plastic door handles with thinly plated or painted plastic door handle covers, surely they will look just as bad in 6 months? Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I've just looked at your picture again, are you sure that they are silver.... they look more like day glow white on my screen! I'd ditch 'em and fit the solid stainless steel, they wont rust, and if you scratch them, they can be polished! Plus because they reflect the world they have a more OEM look, and as they aren't chrome they are not in-yer-face! And as a bonus they are about 35% cheaper that the painted plastic things. £32 upwards on fleabay. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I've got grey on my black V SE and I think i prefer the look to those silvers ones.

That said I notice you've got stainless bars, so you could match up all the non black bits to silver / chrome??

I want those wheels of yours - I've got 2 sets of te 20" 9 spokes if you're interested (1 set used with minor marks and 1 set perfect - on the car).
