Good to hear you've got a unit fitted, Dave.

What year is your car?

Has anyone got any pictures of this and whats done as part of the install?

This would be good if it allows BT streaming as with the newer iphones being upto 128gb there is no need to even plug a USB cable in other than for charging, which is easy enough to do with a USB extension lead to the arm rest box and then a normal lightening usb lead from there to your phone Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

@ Kingpleb. Didn't take any pics as not really much you can
see being done. Seems the hardest part is dismantling and
reassembling the glove box. Have to be honest that was the
reason i paid to have it installed. Also that at least he has to
have everything working before it gets signed off. If you are
ok with the glove box have a look at the P.D.F on their website
it explains everything with diagrams.
Dave.

I have just installed one of these to my 07 vogue se. It is a pain in the arse to remove glove box but is quite a straight forward install. Im finding at the moment tho that im losing memory on a usb stick. What i mean is the track memory ie select a folder play the songs then when i turn it off it restarts at the beginning of the folder. Not sure if i have a faulty one or if they are all the same. Maybe someone could let me know how theirs is getting on before i get back under dash and dismantle it again. Big Cry

Have to be honest sound quality is superb, but unless
i am doing something wrong with the ipod it seems to
start at the beginning each time. also after shutting down
and then coming back to car the ipod goes into pause.
only way i have found round this is to remove lead from ipod
and reconnect. this seems to be a common problem on
other forums i have found via google. sure there must be
a solution to this somewhere but havn't found it yet.
dave.

it seems to suggest would work, you disconnect the CD changer and get bluetooth, usb and phone

just wondering has anyone used one??
I have a 2005 RR TD6. I bought a lead from Maplins. It cost £12.99 and it plugs into my Iphone 5 headphone jack outlet and into the cigartte socket. It allows you to play your iphone music through the car sound system. It also has a switch on it to allow you to do the same with the phone. I have only used the phone part once and I could hear the call as plain as day but the guy I was calling told me I sounded quite quiet. Maybe I was talking away from the phone. At £12.99 it suits me great for the music

The qulity is brilliant from the unit. Its annoying that the unit dosent remember what track it was on. Im thinking how come cd changer will remember what track was playing but not this. Im wondering if there is no memory function inside. Crying or Very sad

I don't think there will be a memory function. I think it just acts as an interface, Thumbs Up

Ive just been on the phone to the suplier of my unit and he said another customer has had the same problem as me. They said they were contacting the manufacturer about a possible update to fix the problem. And will send me the file when done. Surprised

After further testing and a few emails to the manufacturers i can tell you that it does not support memory of tracks from usb stick, all though it will play them fine.
And it does however work fine with an ipod touch that i borrowed from my mate. It kept the track memory after switching off ignition.
