MY 2010 wil not start

Hi guys not sure if anyone can help or have an idea.

Jumped in the car tonight and the LCD screen was blank no picture at all. pushed start button and nothing will not attempt to start. Audio works, Bluetooth works, locks and unlocks, side steps go in and out.

Just will not start and no LCD. Could not stay and look as I had to get home s my daughter quite ill but will need to look at the issue tomorrow so any ideas would be of great help.

Have today charged battery but made no diffrence.

Opens and locks, sidesteps deploy, audio and blue tooth work, lights work etc.

Just no display on the LCD Dash panel and nothing happens when you push start. Not sure if it would have taken out a fuse at the same time, but not sure which one it could be.

Bit baffled and can not get it to the dealer as i can not even get it out of park at the moment.

Any one any ideas they wuld be very much apprcieated Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack

Maybe your battery is dead. Are you still on the original battery?
I had the same with my previous L322 5.0L SC, battery was completely dead, when there's not enough juice to start the engine, it doesn't even try. All the rest worked, radio, etc.,.. but couldn't start the engine.
Changed battery, problem solved.

Hi thanks for reply. Battery was changed under warranty a while ago as there was a recall but that was several years ago.

As I say have charged it today but either something is draining it quickly or as you say it is dead. Would have thought I would have maybe had some idea that the battery was going rather than just dying. Contacted local dealer but as helpful as paper spanner.

Can't move the thing as park brake is on, stuck in park. First problem I have ever had with it. Will have to call Aa and have it dragged on I guess. Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack

Could you take the battery off the car and transport it to somewhere that can test it for you?
Possibly even the AA could test it. Don't know for sure, never used them yet.
Most local garages etc can do it.
You could also try jump starting the car if you have a set of leads or know someone who has.

I had no warning telling me the battery was weakening. Just one day jumped in the car, pushed the button and nothing so it might be the same problem.
I drove down to my local dealer (with another car) and bought a new battery and it started first time.

Happy to get a battery but how on earth do you get the thing out on a 2010, hardly had room to get the battery leads in lol, tighter than a Censored

Would that explain the TFT panel not working though? There seems to be enough power for the side steps to go I and out ok and they surely would give up first? Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack

You can but it's a real squeeze. To be honest I had my local Renault garage fit it for me but he had a hard time!

had a similar problem with my10 vogue, tft went blank, lcd screen went blank whilst I was driving, lights still worked and indicators ok, got home turned off ignition tried to restart but car did not turn over. had to get it recovered to local dealer, fault was a wire had frayed on subframe and shorted to earth behind left hand cover in boot. problem sorted with sticky tape !
