Replacement amp

Ok I got a second hand amp from a BMW x5 to put into the FF as mine is playing up.. Sometime it works sometimes it doesn't. Plugged it in and nothing..well apart from a binging noise about every 8 secs... Rolling Eyes Does it have to be coded. Thought they were plug and play !!!!

Hi ya Bud, have you read this thread?

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic28194.html

It would seam to me that this is of a similar problem, all be it with the Logic 7 amp, but from what I can make out it's the same system, only better (ish!) Thumbs Up

I would imagine that it's looking for some thing that was in the BMW, but is not in the FFRR! Sometimes I think it may have been easier if they'd stayed at the Classic level of ICE Wink Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Have a look at Navcoder. It's for the BMW systems.

That could do it, but double check before you get a cable etc.

Looked on the net, and I'm not sure Navcoder can do DSP coding. Does everything else though.

To answer your question, that's the cable I got and it works fine with navcoder.

Not used the other applications that the seller has bundled with it.

The cable will work but I'd check you can do what you want with the software.

I put navcoder dsp coding into Google and a few posts indicated it was a no go...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
