Tracker or not

I've a friend with a new disco and a defender and his ins companies have both refused to insure the pair unless both have trackers and pedal locks fitted, is this going to be the norm in the future now with 4x4 and high end vehicles😳

Doesn't always actually make the premiums significantly less though, in my experience. Similar to paying a premium to have a monitored and Police response domestic burglar alarm, costs more for that reassurance service as opposed to actual reductions in the premium.

Mine has a tracker but to be honest I don't think I have ever had it stipulated. Used to be on the M3. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
