2008 Vogue SC, no surround rear view camera, looking to replace with a better quality rear camera.


Gathered the following is the best way forward:

1) Rear Camera RR 10+ , P/N LR031815 (Superceded by LR012701 & LR023364) $250
2) Wiring Harness P/N LR016142 ; $125
3) Housing P/N LR012700 ; $25
4) Wire specialist (Mods and careful Skill required ; Demel, splicing, shave, cut, reverse positive & negative wires)

I noticed some low priced cameras, thoughts?

RR rear camera starts at $250. Is the P/N LR031791 (check link above) equivalent to P/N LR031815?

Shall I purchase the housing or advise the wire man to use factory housing? I prefer a less invasive job that looks factory.

Before I go ahead with order any final feed back or suggestions to date?

Buy a 2010> tailgate spoiler (with OE camera fitted) from eBay (available from as little as £30) then all you need do is have the wiring for the cam adapted
