Blinking Infotainment System L322 2007

Hi,

This has been a problem for over 6 months but now seems to be a permanent fault.

The sound whether on Radio or CD keeps getting cut every second or so!
Tried a hard reset by the local specialist British Off Road but they had no luck.

What do I need to replace as I need to resolve?

Sounds like a loose connection to me.

Have you had a good fiddle (technical term) with all the connections in the left side of the boot ?

It does sound connector/cable related. The back of the dash unit also has a bunch of wires. I remember reading some radio issues on the forum in the past but that is quite some time ago. Suggest to try playing with search for a bit. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Check the Bluetooth unit, I had similar issues but more rapid and the Bluetooth had been drowned. Eventually gave up the ghost and had to bypass the unit with a bic Biro. Ed
