Agreed, was good. Sad to see it go. I noticed most newspapers saying JC "hated working on TG"....based on the one time he said it as part of a feature...UK press Yawn Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

The classic car segment was ok but the SUV film was the usual utter dross that (IMO) came to symbolise the TG format at the end.

Not particularly sad to see it go. Not always better the devil you know.

Bring on the boy Evans asap!!! 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

Only time will tell Ajac, however if I was a betting man..........

And the 'boy' Evans is only 5 years younger than Clarkson, 2 years younger than May and 5 years older than Hammond Thumbs Up

Just watched it on iPlayer and largely agree with the comments above.

Very sad, the camaraderie was great and there were quite a few genuine 'laugh out loud' moments, at least for me.

I'm not adverse to CE taking over TG, or what the BBC wish it to be, but I do hope C, M & H announce their new show soon and that it'll not be on Sky.

As long as C, M & H appear together again as the three of them, then I'm happy. Doesn't particularly matter what they do, in my view, just as long as they do something together. The possibilities are endless. Si. <This is my name.

Sad to see it all end however last nights episode just left me a little underwhelmed and was just the usual caravan attack. Was nice to see them at coombe tho. Against my better judgement i welcome a new format with CE as long as Clarkson Hammond and May start another show together, preferably on Netflix and in 4k Very Happy

If I want info on cars I use the net, buy magazines or read forums.
If I want to be entertained I watch car related shows on TV, and until it's demise TG, despite the occasional gaffe and inconsistent standards, was the best car based entertainment show on TV. I will miss the old TG format but will welcome the new version as long as it is entertaining.

Personally I enjoyed it and was sad to see it end. I don't watch if for info on cars, I watch it to be entertained and the 3 work well together. JC made one or two comments about hating TG and the end of the show that now seem a bit prophetic Shocked

I'm not sure that I am particularly interested in watching with CE at the helm but will give it a go. His co-hosts will also be a major factor in my decision to stick with it or not.

On another note I must say I enjoyed Brian Johnson's show, he seems like a real down to earth guy with a real passion for cars.
