Blind Spot monitoring

Hi,

Had my L405 for a couple of weeks. Really happy!

Except two things.

The front seats are squeaking as hell, and I can't seem to get the blind spot monitoring working.

All I can see is a yellow dot in the mirrors when I'm driving off. When I pass 10km/h it dissapears.
I have never seen the system in action. And it is activated in the menus. What am I doing wrong?

To sum it up: It is not working.

Best

/c

On my L322 the orange dot at the start says system on. When you set off above a certain speed the light goes off and the only thing you see then is a car symbol when something enters the blind spot.

Have you been on a dual carriageway or motorway with it?

Sounds like it isn't working.
Mine is very sensitive and on country roads it detects the bushes.

Could be a sensor playing up.

Yep, I have a squeaking driver seat as well. I mentioned it last time to my dealer but he forgot to look at it so I'll mention it again next time the car is in for a service/work. Not going to bother to go to the dealer only for this but it seems like it is getting worse, like something is not properly fixed and squeaks when you take a bend and lots of those around here!
