Hate to say it but worth waiting until Jan 1 to have it registered. It will add a lot to its value. But only if you plan to resell it in the next ten years.

Yeah - I know.
I ordered this one in July...
I kept the last one 7 years - (its on the For Sale & Wanted section now) - so I don't really care that much, but may delay until New Year - you have a point..

Certainly worth having a conversation with the dealer. Most will have year end targets. Pushing your car into the next year might cost the dealer several thousand pounds. He might offer you a discount to incentivise you to take the car early. Either way, you'll be better off. You can still choose to take it early if you want.

If your dealer gives you stick, point out to him that I ordered mine a few weeks after you and took delivery on the 16th, so he has not done you any favours. letters not necessarily in the right order
