Japanese import reflects price? A bit strange in a way as Japan drives on the left with RHD. Confused John

A friend in Japan told me that they thought LHD imported cars were "prestige" so most imported cars came in LHD form even though RHD versions were available.

United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

Having had personal imports, or grey imports as they get referred as, they are rust free but insurance can be tricky and expensive.
This one as pointed out is a bit odd, perhaps a US resident ordered it and then left it behind. Secondly it is very odd to find a vehicle over 10 years old in Japan unless it has not been used on the road for a long time.

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

As the evil Emperor pointed out the Japanese like their prestige imports LHD to show of . A trend that is starting to die out now but it's a bit disconcerting seeing something like a Jag in LHD in a RHD country but then they do things their own wat over there Laughing 2008 MY Supercharged
