Testing Mules on A26 autoroute

I was heading south from Calais today and about 20 minutes into the journey was passed by 3 L404s. One a 15 plate, on a 62 and the other a 63, location prefixes begining with either V or B. Cars were de badged, LHD and each had what looked like a go pro camera attached to the a pillar on the passenger side, along with a large i pad type console attached by a cradle fixed to the dash. No pics sorry. Any else think they might be factiry mules? They were travelling quite quickly.....

Who knows Craig, they looked like 405s, but who knows what was underneath!

Using the reg number on the DVSA/Gov websites, you can find out what engines they have. May be developing new engines, or engine tech
