Nothing I can do to help (except perhaps the no music one). However, to add to the general misery, mine has been doing something odd recently.

I normally listen to an iPod hardwired into the system. Easy peasy.

However, I wanted to listen to some comedy podcasts on my iPhone.

Strange behaviour one is that it won't let you switch between a hardwired iPod and bluetooth. You first have to unplug the iPod. That took a while to work out. (does that help Roystonh?)

Then, there was no obvious way to select the podcast from the head unit. No problem I thought. Just select the podcast on the phone and start it playing there.

It began playing but no sound from the phone or the head unit. The description of the podcast did appear on the head unit (but NOT between the dials in the instrument binnacle because that NEVER works).

Some head scratching. I paused the playing on the headunit and started it again. Bingo. Podcast over the car's speakers. Albeit quietly.

HOWEVER, now, when I get in the car and the bluetooth music starts, I get a random selection of the last music played on the phone or the last podcast it was playing. I have no idea which will come up or why.

Just talked to my local (as usual very helpful) dealer and he said that with certain apps on the Iphone it doesn't connect properly with the car Shocked Shocked he will provide me with a list of apps by tomorrow... All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

I have the same issue and it has been apparent on several courtesy cars as well, must be a "feature".

What is also frustrating me is that the majority of the time, regardless of what I have been listening to when I get into the car, it always plays Ed Sheeran - A Team, as this is the first track alphabetically in my library.

I am using Apple Music. IOS 9.2.1 iPhone 6 +
