Facelift conversions - brighter DRLs ?

Hi there..

I just want to ask, i heard it's possible to make your angel ayes DRLs brighter than factory brightness which cannot be seen in daytime.

Does anyone know how to? Anyone done it before? Will it cause more heat and damage the headlight lens?

I don't believe this is possible. Just put LED bulbs in your front fogs and that'll do the trick! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Also IID tool might be able to do that

LCM-LIGHT CONTROL

Daytime Running Light ( High Beam, Main Beam or None )
Follow me home with reverse lamp
FMH Front fog lamps
FMH Front position lamps
FMH High beam headlamps
FMH License plate light
FMH Low beam headlights
FMH Rear position lamps
FMH Reverse lamp (LCM Coding Index 11 only)
FMH Style
Follow Me Home ( FMH ) cancel with lighting switch
Front fog lights off if main beam on
Handbrake turns off Daytime Running Lamps
Key in ignition warning if door is opened
Main beam dim with DRL
Time in seconds for Follow Me Home ( FMH )

If someone can explain if it's possible or not so i can buy the tool

If you do the conversion none of the FMH functions work, I've found.
Also, the thread you posted above is for cars that have these lights fitted as standard ie >MY10. You've done a conversion, so the LCM is still the original one and the headlights are the new type, hence a lot of their functionality is lost, such as AFS etc etc. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
