Thanks again for your valuable comments.

As I mentioned in my first post, I know that I am doing a strange comparison as the RR and Q7 are very different cars. However, the fact is that I like to evaluate different options when I buy something, but a FFRR really doesn't have true direct competitors!

Anyway, the video posted by Haylands is very funny! I don't need off-road capabilities, but that Q7 remains stuck in a bit of mud and snow...which is a very normal thing where I live!!!

Thumbs Up

Friend wrote of his 62 plate q7 last month when he drove through a decent puddle and engine took in water and killed it. On the road!

Germany 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

I do have some first hand experience as I have a 2012 TDV8 R322 and had the old Q7 last year and recieved the new model over the new years days, sp presently am forced to drive the actual Q7 and our L322.
Its a no brainer by long ways on what I would (and have!) spent my own money. Its the Range by all means.
The feel inside, on road, the leather, seat position, overlook etc are all much bett to me. If you want a big car that feels like a big car, get a Range!

The Q7 is a good car for commutes and long travels but lacks style, feel and acceptance. I hate the in-built agressive motorway look it has and Ou start make use of it the longer you drive in it.
The longer you use it the more you behave like a complete Audi idiot.

It drives well, is fast, easy to handle and really much lighter compared to the old one. The electronics are ace.
And the best about it: it just works. No hickups so far. Pretty Boring....

Answay, if you want an electric commute, get a Smart. Those are fun. Wif has a turbo 1,0. Ace!
