Australia 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

I have the compomotives here in oz. it seems they're not to common on a L322. Very happy having more tyre options and side wall to help the shocks on our corrugated roads.

I came from 19"s so didn't really notice a change.

I've also got 265/60/18s which are a lot more common here, as fitted to Toyotas etc. ______________________________

Did they fit straight on; or did you have to do any mods to get them to fit?

I assume the brembos are the same on the 2010 facelift as pre 2010?!

Compomotive 18" wheels will fit over the four pot Brembo's without having to move the counterweights like on the Sport but they can't fit over the six pot Brembo's fitted to TFT dashboard cars after 2010 if that makes it clear . 2008 MY Supercharged

The MY10 3.6 TDV8 didn't get the 4-pot or the 6-pot Brembo brakes, instead just a 2-pot sliding but I don't know if the Compomotives fit over them.

Thanks Graeme. So JLR changed brakes for the facelift 3.6, and used the same brakes on the 4.4 tdv8?

Another reason I might stick to the MY08. ______________________________

No, only the MY10 TDV8 (3.6) got the lesser brakes as the 6-pot Brembos were fitted to MY11 TDV8 (4.4), the same ones as fitted ot the 5.0 SC. The MY11/12 5.0 na got the same 2-pot floating callipers as fitted to the MY10 3.0 D4, but different callipers to the MY10 L322.

GoE have just replied to my query stating that the 18" will fit the 2010 TDV8!

They say the brakes are the same as the 3.0SDV6.

To be honest you won't have a problem , if you car is as you describe, ie a 2010 TDV8 for that year the Brembo brakes were removed and a simpler sliding caliper was fitted , when they were changed again the next year they went up to the six pot Brembo which are the only size that won't work . 2008 MY Supercharged
