22" diamond cut wheels

Hi everyone!

I've just put a deposit down on a 2014 plate VSE, which I collect on Thursday. The car has 22" alloys which I am not too sure about. I like the look of them, I'm just wondering if the ride is too stiff and are they easy to kerb?

I currently have an L322 and before that a Disco 3, both had big tyres with 19" wheels and I never had to worry about pot holes and kerbs, also driving around the farm in winter was a breeze.

What are your experiences with these wheels?

Thanks in advance!

Yes they will be easy to kerb and expensive to repair!

It really depends on the roads you drive.

IMHO the 22's are better on motorways & good A roads - there is less tyre roll in roundabouts.

On bumpy back roads, then 20's will be the best option.

21's are a decent compromise.

I tried all 3 and I have 22's Cool

i got both 22"s - only the ride quality is a bit harsh - my car isn't allowed to have the 21" due to the 250kmh top speed and insurance..

They are easy and cheap to repair (have done it twice)
