Side steps

Has anybody got side steps fitted to there FFRR? I'm looking to get some fitted but not sure what type to get. Also when searching for pics of them fitted I cant find any fitted to a silver RR like mine. I think the black one's with built on mud flaps look good but think they may look abit out of place on my silver RR. If anybody has a silver one with steps could you please show me pics.

cheers

the silver/chrome bars look good but are in-practicable but the 'flat' steps are useful for getting in and out , as FOX says theres loads of pics on google and on the gallery here.. ... - .- -.

The black side steps are great in these slippery conditions Smile Even when it's not so cold, it stops people sliding in/out of the car. The tops are a non-slip plastic. I have them fitted to my car (see gallery) albeit mine is blue Paul

Personally I'm not a fan of side steps all together. But I found a picture of a Silver one with side steps which isn't too bad.

Well I've had a good look at the many pics. Think I like the steel pipes with the rubber step pads. Still not 100% on any of them tho. Even tho the main black ones seem the best I think they'll just stick out a bit to much. The wife's fed up of giving people leg ups to get in the back!

I have had the OEM steps, Steel Steps & Steel Bars on various late Model Range Rovers and in my opinion the Steel Bars look best by far. The kids use them as steps too Thumbs Up

PS: See my car below.

The pic looks just like mine. I wouldn't be without them personally and I think they look a lot better than the side tubes (a bit bling). 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

I think the steps make the car look "Squat" and "Fat" as they take away from the original "Lean" lines of the L322. (IMHO)

To be honest I agree. I'm not a fan of the steps or tubes. I'd much rather leave the car as it is. I don't have problems getting in and out of the car. Just a shame the wife and her friends do! Short arses Very Happy

Cheers

Laughing

The side steps are cheaper than the missus constantly buying tights.

I guess the best compromise is to find a car fitted with the electric side steps? Paul

We never had a problem getting into our previous FFRR and even my short aunties could get into It, and one of the kids was a baby so was getting carried anyway, the other was just a "twinkle" In my wife's eye Laughing
