Check spare tyre pressure warning

Briefly had the spare on for a day, but didn't drive it whilst it had the spare.
The spare is a space saver...
Since returning it to the boot, I have driven a few hundred miles.
But on start up i get the check spare tyre pressure warning each time.
I did check the pressure, and it was 55.
So it increased it to 60.
Made no difference. Not that I thought it would....I don't think the space saver spare tyre has a TPMS unit in it.
Any thoughts ?
