I had 2 L322s - a 4.2l SC and a 5.0l SC - the 5.0l SC has been the better car but the L 405 5.0SC is the BEST ! Cool All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

Happy, happy, happier, very happy covers my 4x L405 experiences. Regularly ride in an L322 and while it is lovely I wouldn't go back.

Mostly pleased with my L405 except its refusal to go into Low range unless I stop completely. Sometimes when off-road it is best not to stop so why did they change the arrangement from the L322 which allowed the change providing one was going slowly. Ridiculous!

I'm guessing you guys that are not happy have had issues and are suffering "buyers remorse" as it's such a huge cost.

How anyone can call the car "soulless" I don't know? It has more soul and presence than almost any other vehicle.

My 322 was and is a great vehicle, but it's shape and looks are now quite dated, so no way would I go back.

The improvement in drive and fuel etc are outstanding...... I would not swap it for any other 4x4

And I've driven a few, including the bentaga, which comes a close second!!! Laughing

+1 for the low range illogical operation.

v happy with mine. lovely car. I kind of know what the "soulless" comments mean as it isn't a car look forward to "driving" (by which I mean taking it out for good hard drive for the hell of it) but after a long days work I wouldn't want anything else to get me home. It's as relaxing and comforting as slipping into a hot bath.

Had a loan SDV8 Vogue for the past 4 months and can't fault it. Been very reliable (touching loads of wood). My new 2017 arrives next month and hope its as good.

Cant really complain about fuel consumption either.

I think I've only got into the low 30's on long runs! Most of the time I'm around 28mpg.

Back on topic, I LOVE my L405. I'd never go back to an L322. The only thing that annoys me is that the boot is smaller and higher - so my dog has less room! Pretty much everything else is better in an L405. Mileage on my Aston has declined sine I bought the Rangie as the Rangie is just so capable.
