Your experience is exactly the same as mine. The torque in the diesel is great, when it arrives! I love the fact that I can waft or I can whizz. The whizz performance is hysterical and I still get a magical grin every time but wafting is blissfully smooth and quiet too.
For many I understand the diesel is the perfect answer so for me it is not a debate about which is the better engine in the FFRR.
