Keys keys keys

Gents so here is the dilemma I have three keys now but only one works off the fob when I or indeed the workshop reprogram any key it works but knocks the others out all start the car and unlock on the blade oh its a 2007 4.2
Any ideas how to get at least two working off the remote?

So all 3 keys work independently - but not together ?

Sounds like the problem must be with the receiving module in the car then - for some reason it is only recognising the last key programmed.

Yes thats what I thought took it to the dealer and they dont have a clue but it literally just takes the last key and drops the others yet they still open the doors and start in the ignition just no fob

Might not help, but on a RR Classic if you reprogram the key fobs, you must do all of them together (max 3 iirc)

If you only reprogram one, only one will work, as the codes are changed in validating previously fobs Regards

Its the same on these and yes we are doing all three at once and it is only the first one in the sequence that hold the others drop out then if I change the order and start again it is only the first of the 3 that it holds

You know NOT to put the second and third key into the ignition when doing the sequence.? It sounds as if you are putting each key in turn into the ignition which has the effect of restarting the procedure??

i.e. Put the first key in the ignition and do the synching process, then, without putting the second key in the ignition, do the synching process on it, same for third key.

At end of synching try the keys. John
