there are no correct settings as such, you are either in a good reception area or not....

the best way to tell is to look at the houses around you and if they have roof aerials then it's a bad reception area...remember you only have a few strips of wire in the rear windows to receive the signal... ... - .- -.

Not using it whists driving no...I'm not a French HGV driver Shocked it's just for when I nip to the shops and drag them with me, it's just I noticed that there were some setting options when I was playing around with it.

what year is your car? what TV system do you have ? if the car is moving by you driving it and the kids are in the back watching TV then it is classed as TV in motion, if you refer to kids watching tv in car park waiting for you this is not tv in motion

maybe a dodgy aerial or aerial booster, have a look in the boot on left hand side look for any water ingress or loose connections, if you travel to far away from home you would have to retune the tv for best signal

Remember 4 G mobile phone network have rolled out and installed a series of new signal masts all over the UK and they did state in their PR that it could affect reception in some areas.

I had a card from them saying if I experienced dropouts to contact them and they would supply free of charge a line filter for my signal (from Crystal Palace channel 59), duly arrived and fitted but still get the occasional drop out.
I also have a ultra high gain antenna on the roof. I dont think we can expect to get drop out free signals with our tiny arial. Maybe the solution is to stick a motorised dish on the roof of the FF and go Freesat Laughing .
