United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Tangiers Orange

Hi, a bit of an update.

Richard XXX has one of the surviving 51 plate L322s, it was used in a James Bond Movie made before the L322 was even produced at the factory - hence why it was not crushed with the others. Who know how it survived afterwards though.

See it below:

http://www.cvcregister.co.uk/range-rover/range-rover-l322/

and here :

The other one is Job 1, the first production, driven off road by yours truly below (dont ask! Wink ). You can see it at the HMC.

England 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Reading this with interest and although I don't own it, I always remember the very first L322 that I ever saw. It pulled up outside the swan hotel in Leighton Buzzard the year that the L322 was launched and it had the most impressive numberplate that I have ever seen, YE5 1 CAN (does this make it a very early one)? I have never seen it again can tell you that I wanted one after seeing that. I had to wait a few years but finally got my 2002 Adriatic Blue HSE. Sadly this is now owned by a friend of mine and I have just taken delivery of my 2010 Autobiography 4.4 TDV8. The Best 4x4 by far, so long as you have deep pockets.

It's been joined by it's sister car registered on the same day, probably the oldest surviving preproduction 4.2 SC and a preproduction Japanese spec 4.2 SC

Slighty O/T trivia: I'm not sure what the reg is of the silver one at 0:30 in on the launch video video below is, I'm assuming crushed if it was a pre-launch car? I remember dropping down into the turns above Gruinard Bay to see them loading it onto a transporter having shot the scene at 3:05, probably in spring 2001 if memory serves me. Pretty sure it was in my dad's old Frontera so would certainly have been around that time. The scene at 0:30 is climbing south out from the end of Little Loch Broom on the A832 (now part of the 'NC500' - bleurgh) towards the Fearn/straight mile on the way to Braemore junction.
