Steering wheel off, shroud off, rotary coupler off, then it comes off...

Download RAVE from the WIKI and it will tell you how, you need a very long screwdriver style star drive to get the shroud off, a socket won't do, also the correct tool for removing the airbag or you can damage it... Thumbs Up Pete

Thanks for your reply,i'm hoping that complete removal of the arm isn't necessary and just the removal of the steering column cowel will give me access to the problem that i have.
I was cut up by another motorist and consequently applied too much pressure on the main beam switch whilst indicating right. As a result the ball joint socket has got caught up on the socket housing and wont retract or self cancel and is stuck on turning right.
So here goes nothing.

They are all plastic, I imagine it's broken, repairs on these things just don't last... Pete

I've managed a temporary fix on the arm ,however it isn't completely satisfactory .I have ordered a2nd hand arm off eBay which should do the trick.
