Yup, I've started to plan the replacement, 4.4 AB , sadly I want one identical to mine, just with a different engine! Not easy.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

You do get a chance to reject it prior to collection IIRC. YOu normally get an hour of so before driving away. If anything pops up that wasn't described then you can reject.

I bought my first range from Brightwells of leominster auctions - it was a may 2002 HSE with all vogue upgrades except stereo. Bought it sight unseen and undriven and it never put a foot wrong in Over 2 years. Everything worked without fault!

So auctions can be good places to buy ..... Whistle Thumbs Up

2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

I think with cars and auctions its a gamble as is cars and garages but as the auction is for a Range Rover then it has to be a gamble more than a normal gamble??? Rolling with laughter

Whistle They put a car in an auction for a reason.... it wouldn't be the first time that a diff was full of sawdust or a gearbox had been filled with stockings Shocked

If it's a liquidation sale or repossession then there is less chance of getting a pup, but general auctions are hit and miss, for a kick off you can't test drive them Rolling Eyes

Why would anyone sell a car at an auction for less than the car was worth? Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

^ I agree

If it was put in the auction by a private seller or a motor dealer you have to question the motive. A good Fatty is not hard to sell if priced right.

If it's a lease or rental company sale then that's more usual at auction because they just want rid of it and not too concerned about the final price. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
