Audible Audio Books

Has anyone had Amazon's Audible work through the touch screen, for example from a phone or ipod? I am happy I can use the 3.5mm jack with my phone or an mp3 player but would be nice to control it from the touch screen. Car is 2011 year with RSE an dual view. 2011c Vogue SE 4.4 Oil Burner

Well....No response but I have pushed ahead and experimented and answered my own question. It involved buying an old ipod off the bay (not cheap, apple no longer sell the hicap ipod classic so the prices on the bay are very buoyant. New old stock in sealed packs can be several hundred quid. More than when new new stock a few years back.) Had to buy a lead also as it did not come with the car.
For the benefit of all the simple answer is that audiobooks work just like any other audio file on an ipod or iphone and therefore are fully accessible from the RR touch screen. Win. I have about 2 weeks worth of books to listen to now. At one hour a day that'll keep me going for most of a year. As audible supply a new book every month I might have to sit outside in the FF rather than coming indoors. Well that will be my excuse. Mr. Green

The old ipod has about 10% of its memory used for this 8GB of 80. At full capacity that works out at ten years listening at an hour a day! Ah well another good reason to stay in the FF. 2011c Vogue SE 4.4 Oil Burner
