275/40R22 Question

Just saw a used vehicle on this German site (close-up photo of one of the wheels is in the picture gallery)

http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/land-...16611.html

showing one with apparently Kahn rims and 275/40R22 tyres.

I take it this is not an official L322 tyre size and that this would alter the accuracy of the speedo and milometer. Is that correct? 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

at 60mph that 22'' tyre will show the speedo to be 2 mph over..

the only landrover OE 22'' would be from the newer L405 range.. ... - .- -.

Thanks Stan. I test drove the above car today and up close those rims are pretty kerbed but with such low profile tyres I suppose it's not surprising. The dealer said the car is an ex-leasing car originally leased directly from an LR dealer and that the customer specified those wheels. Is it normal for LR to offer non-LR wheels? I thought Khan and Overfinch parts were after-market only.

Is there any way to check if the rims are genuine Khan? I don't really like them so if I bought the car I'd sell them on but only if they were genuine. I've seen images of similar rims that have KHAN stamped on one of the spokes but these don't have that... 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

275 40 22 is the right size for the L405 & L494 Sport - so not far out - they will be the same diameter as the 255 50 20's

You will probably need to have a wheel off & look on the back to see if they are genuine - maybe give Khan a call & ask them how to identify ?

For the record Khan confirmed that the wheels are copies and not original Khan wheels.
The originals always seem to have KHAN stamped in one of the spokes. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black
