Adjusting park position for wipers

Hi all. Can anyone please tell me how difficult it is to adjust my wipers to a lower park position. Currently both wipers park above the black on the windscreen Have compared to other cars and mine are definitely to high. Thanks

I need to do this on mine too. The benefit of them sitting lower down on the black part of the screen is that there are heating elements there to stop them freezing.

I believe it's a case of popping the cover off of the spindle and undoing the nut - adjusting and then re-tightening the nut... Taking care not to move the washer (it goes up and down) as this adjust the angle of the blade relative to the screen. If this is wrong you can get a clunk at the end of the travel.

Hi. I did mine last weekend. Same story, despite adjustments to pitch of blade they were parking at about 10 degrees above horizontal.

I removed the wipers and then used a puller to remove the splined base from the shaft- after marking it's start position with a permanent marker.

Don't bother with the wiper pullers they don't have enough reach to get underneath.

It's really easy. Thumbs Up

Sorry. I might be being slow here. Do I remove nut covers 2. Remove the wiper arms 3. Remove the splines on the wiper motor. 4. Refit splines to new position. 5. Refit wipers. ? Thanks

Hi. That's what I did. Sadly didn't take any pics as it was p*ssing down at the time.
I need to take the wipers off to take measurements of the blocks I used to convert to frameless wipers. Will try and get pics.

Tbh tho it's pretty simple.
