Radio-Sat Nav Screen gone funny

The screen on my old FFRR, a 2003, has gone like this ( see pic ). Any ideas people.

I have never seen that before, is it just the Radio display? or is it every screen?

Radio display only then I'd be looking at BM54 unit in the boot, might have drowned Shocked

If it's every screen then I would suspect that the screen has gone up the swannie.... I just happen to have a spare if needed Wink Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Three options I can help either here -

1. a self repair I worked out myself on my old m5 which worked well:

2. Check out the for sale I have a screen only a couple of years old for sale very rare most are 15+ now and prone to the same failure.

3. If your brave and have some money do my nbt retrofit
