Would be keen to see how much faster the map is. I live 10 minutes away from Mikey so if you fancy a wee drag race post fix, give me a shout! |

This saga continues! Olympic Warranties pitched up at Mikeys yesterday, a quick inspection and the decision is that my turbos have failed due to ware and tear!!! I need them to quantify that If I take out an extended warranty that specifically covers the turbos, what is ware and tear?

The assessor is independent from the warranty company, but his diagnosis of wear and tear, IMHO, is wrong

don't know about the failures but, I've had the car for exactly two years and it hasn't missed a beat! I've done 20K miles and the car has been serviced 3 times!! 3 oil changes with the correct oil etc! where did I go wrong? I've done lots of other stuff as well!

G'day Chef, pls don't think I was having a go at the way you have maintained it, just trying to understand why and when these turbos fail. I'm glad it's running so well. The L322 tdv8 3.6 is the best car I've owned. Mine's been quite trouble free other than a trans and transfer, and alternator at 230,000km.
