Engine / Transmission warning

My dealer tells me that the following is completely normal, but can I just please check experience with some fellow owners?

When I press the start button but don't start the engine (eg to access the service menu) all of the Amber warning lights come on and then go off after a second.

This is with the exception of the amber general warning "!" light and the amber engine/transmission light which remain firmly lit. Both of these are then extinguished when I start up the engine.

Is this the same for you please? 2016 SDV8 AB
