Ignition on for 2+ hours

Hi All,
I have ordered a genuine Range Rover InControl 2017 satnav map update USB stick which arrives on Monday.
To update the maps, I believe it takes upwards of 2 hours during which time I cannot use the navigation system.
I would therefore rather do the update whilst the car is at home on my drive.
Does anyone know how I can leave the ignition on for 2+ hours without it switching itself off "to conserve battery" ??
I can block the car in so it can't be pinched:)
If not, I suspect I will just have to bite the bullet and do the update next time I do a long journey "sans satnav".
Thanks in anticipation,
Tony If it ain't broken, fix it till it is.

Don't have an answer to that but can I ask what model do you have? I was quoted £330 at stealers for 2011 L322.
