Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to supplying dealer I go!

Picked up my 2011 vogue SE Sunday

Got suspension errors - normal ride height available only, and now suspension fault

Think it's riding on the bump stops at the rear, if I try to lower the car into access height the front actually rises and goes into extended mode! Meanwhile the rear stays where it is!

What a shame to experience this as soon as I pick it up, fault must have been present.

Seriously unimpressed with both the supplying dealer and the independent they used to check the car when I committed to buying it.

Hope this isn't a sign of things to come and I've bought yet another pup!

Do car dealers just bid low on trade, give it a wash and Hoover, and flog it for £3,000 more??? Seems an expensive valet!

Will the warranty company now have to pay? Or will it eat into some of the dealers margin? If I was a warranty company I'd be hacked off even more!

It varies massively by dealer how much work they do.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing - take it back & let them sort it out.

Get it plugged in and the codes read. When mine did this I had it into my local indy and they went through a check process on the computer, then checked the air bags and air lines. You may have a fault on either. Hopefully its a plug n play fix Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I think the faults were there, but hidden to some extent, as it was locked in access height before I set off, which then after numerous button presses it went to extended, then on getting above the speed limit on that it appeared to correct itself, but on reflection and knowing a bit more that I did then, it was obviously borked!

Hopefully they nip this one in the bud and fix it for you and its the only issue you have. Its not a great start but dont get disheartened with the car. Your mind will want to make you skeptical and doubting of it every time you get in it otherwise!

Its the reason why when I bought mine the LR dealer had to go and get a coffee, I was raising it up and down rolling it forwards backwards stopping, starting etc still had issues though!

All the best hope it gets sorted.
