That's what I though Andy until it failed today. Strangely it passed with the very same crack last year, done by the very same inspector. Censored Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

He shouldn't have failed it unless it's affecting you line of vision,,you can now have a crack from one side to the other but if it doesn't affect line of vision it's a pass,,unless the tester was a midget Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter then it was in his line of vision.all the rules on windscreens have changed recently.
