Genuine Land Rover L322 bike carrier.

This fits to the tow armature and can be secured with a padlock. Like most things made by LR it's absolutely bomb proof and a great bit of OEM kit.

Officially it can carry 2 bikes, but there are various threads on here where people have carried 3 with no issues...

The boot can be accessed with it attached. In good used condition.

Available new but retail price is over £300!

£80 collected from CW6. Will post but will probably be circa £30 for a courier due to size and weight

Just had a read of the instructions. Would I be right in thinking this doesn't fit the factory detachable towbar system? 2004 Vogue TD6 - Remapped

It uses the same armature. You have to undo the bolt holding the towbar in place (not easy as they are assembled dry and at high torque) and then pull out the towbar unit from the armature (may require hammering as they rust into the socket). The bicycle carrier base then bolts into the armature in its place, the spanner required is meant to be included in the LR accessory kit. I'd grease the stem of the bicycle carrier and towbar before putting them back, and copper grease the threads of the bolts on both, to ease changeovers. Only Range Rovers since 1988

CS is spot on, it fits into the armature on the towbar

I bought this about 18 months ago and never actually used it as I didnt have a tow bar fitted and couldn't justify the cost of fitting one for the handful of times I actually get out on my bike....
