Why is oil leaking from this... "thing"?

Hello, FullFat RR Forum members.
Being from the other side of the Atlantic, I have been a long time poster in the Rangerovers.net forum, but have not been aware of this forum quite as much until reading about it from others.
Browsing about, I have noticed that it does seem a bit more active than the one I frequent, and has more international posters from all over, including North America.

My '03 Range Rover has had the full range of failures and repairs, mostly all done myself, with the exception of a wheel bearing I had replaced by a quite capable local independant RR mechanic from England that I visit freqeuntly to check the health of the vehicle. I also had him replace the cooling pump when I didn't have time. Paul Watts, the owner/mechanic, and his wife have been over here long enough to build a reputation and clientel that keeps his shop full of vehicle repairs, mostly Land Rovers.

Anyway, after replacing my alternator which gave me an opportunity to clean the fron end of my BMW 4.4L engine, I've located a small oil leak that I'd like to "sort out".
It leaks without the engine running, but is above the level of the oil pan. The origin appears to be a plate that the oil lines from the oil filter connect to, bolted to the block. It bolts to the block just above the oil pan, and just behind the alternator, on the left side of the engine (when facing forward, as when seated in the vehicle).

A couple of pictures show the leak slightly, since they were taken about 15 minutes after wiping the oil clean. Again, they appear to be coming from under the front of two mounting bolts that secure the oil line "plate" to the block.
I looked in my RAVE manual for the part to find if there is a gasket or something that could be replaced, but RAVE makes no mention of the part that I can find.
If someone has a parts manual or something that provides a more detailed parts breakdown than RAVE, I would appreciate any insight or advice that you could give.

Thank you, and Hello! 03 HSE Range Rover (U.S. Spec)

OK, 1st thing is, Land Rovers don't leak oil, they mark their territory Whistle

And 2nd thing is....your picture isn't showing.

And 3rd. Welcome, both here and to the wacky world of Rover ownership. The men in white coats will be along shortly. Thumbs Up

Stick up your picture so we can take a look.

I am having a hard time uploading the pics to the post.
Is there a trick to it?
I can't seem to get anything beyond:

I've had my L322 for about 5 years now, so the men with white coats like so many repairs have come and gone/

Nevermind... After reading through the FAQs, I found that this forum can't support images. Since I posted it on another forum, I can link to that...

Outstanding! Thanks for the direction, Scarey!

The small trail of oil can be seen in these two photos, running from the forward-most bolt that holds a plate to the engine block. That plate is where the oil lines from the oil filter interface with the block.
It does not appear to be coming from the timing/front cover plate, but from under the oil line plate itself.

Does anyone have any info on the gasket or O-ring behind that plate? Or a parts list that could give details on such?

Thank you.

Looks like the oil is seeping through the threads of the bolt, have you tried removing the bold and wrapping a little PTFE tape around it and then putting it back in. Be careful not to over tighten it though or you could end up in sheep dip
